Mr. Willits brings over 40 years of pioneering experience in aircraft sales, leasing, and technology innovation, positioning him as a visionary leader at the intersection of aviation finance and artificial intelligence. As Principal and Founder of JetStar Technologies Group, he leads the development of state-of-the-art AI solutions for the aircraft leasing and finance industry.

Warren began his career with Douglas Aircraft Company, selling over 200 MD-80 aircraft to major carriers including American Airlines and Midway Airlines. He subsequently helped build and manage a $1+ billion aircraft portfolio at Potomac Capital Investment Corp., where he spoke before President Clinton's Commission on Airline Competitiveness. At Tombo Aviation, Mitsui & Co.'s aviation leasing subsidiary, he served as Executive Vice President responsible for all portfolio management activities, negotiating Boeing 737NG acquisitions and managing global remarketing operations.

In 2006, Warren founded JetStar Partners, Inc., developing JetBase, an aircraft lease portfolio management system that revolutionized how lessors manage their assets. JetBase remains in active use today by both helicopter and commercial jet lessors worldwide. JetStar Partners has grown to provide comprehensive aviation services including lessor/lessee contractual and technical management systems, custom systems development, aircraft remarketing and financing services, institutional investor advisory on finance lease structures, transaction valuation analysis, and market trend analysis. Warren has been at the forefront of aviation data analytics since the early 1990s and has been actively involved with data science and AI since 2012.

Currently serving as Advisory Board Member for JetZero, a revolutionary blended wing body aircraft technology company, since its founding in 2020. Warren is a former ISTAT Foundation Chairman and former ISTAT Board Member, and currently serves on the ISTAT Governance Committee. His unique combination of deep aviation industry expertise and AI knowledge positions him to lead expert teams in developing cutting-edge AI technology applications for the aviation leasing and finance industry.

Dr. Stefan-Michael Wedenig

Mag. Dr. Wedenig, LL.M, D.C.L. is an experienced operations and strategy professional with a background in managing academic institutions, research centres, and international associations.

He currently serves as Executive Director of the McGill Institute of Air and Space Law, where he leads all institutional operations, oversees a multidisciplinary team, manages a seven-figure annual budget, and drives multi-year growth initiatives. He restructured internal systems, introduced scalable administrative processes, and executed international partnership strategies that expanded the Institute's global footprint. He led external partnership development, fundraising initiatives, institutional development and outreach, and oversaw academic programming, research coordination, and public engagement.

He further serves as Deputy Secretary General of ALICANTO, the International Association of Aviation and Aerospace Education, where he represents member universities before the International Civil Aviation Organization and advances collaborative projects across the sector.

He also has experience in diplomacy, having worked for the Embassy of Austria in Ottawa earlier in his career. In this role, he provided support for bilateral diplomatic matters, coordinated the Embassy's public engagement and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beyond his operational leadership, Dr. Wedenig has established himself at the intersection of law, artificial intelligence, and cutting-edge technology. His academic work examines how legal frameworks must evolve to address the challenges posed by autonomous systems, machine learning algorithms, and space-based innovations.

He has authored scholarly publications that analyze liability structures for AI-driven decisions, regulatory approaches to autonomous aviation systems, and the legal implications of commercial space activities. His research addresses critical questions around accountability when AI systems make independent decisions, the allocation of risk in automated transportation, and the development of governance frameworks for emerging technologies.

He holds a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) and an LL.M. in Air and Space Law from McGill University (Canada), alongside a Magister iuris (Master's in Law) from Johannes Kepler University Linz (Austria).

Dr. Hanley is Associate Professor and former Interim Director of the Institute of Air and Space Law, Faculty of Law, McGill University, where he researches and teaches Aerospace Finance Law since 2019. He also teaches Aircraft Acquisition and Financing for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 2010.

His aviation law career of over 35 years spans Ireland, England, Japan, USA, Netherlands, Egypt, Taiwan and Canada. Working with three leading law firms in the aviation finance field, he later became Director, Legal at Mitsui subsidiary Tombo Aviation (1999-2005) before becoming Vice President, Legal at Aviation Capital Group (ACG) (2005-2019), where he was a founding director of CIAF Leasing (2009-2013) and later founding Managing Director of ACG Ireland (2014-2019). He also served as a non-executive director of WNG Ireland (2019-2023).

He is the author of Aircraft Operating Leasing, now in its third edition, the main textbook in the field, and revised for its third edition the IATA two volume textbook International Aircraft Financing. While at ACG, he was one of the principal members of the Aviation Working Group-IATA team which produced standardised form aircraft leasing and trading documentation for use in the industry.

He holds MBA (Concordia University), LLM and PhD (Leiden University) degrees in aviation and is qualified as a lawyer in Ireland, England, California and Taiwan. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Dr. Rodrigo Queiroz

Dr. Queiroz, BSc, MSc, MBA, PhD has more than 15 years of experience in Software Engineering, with 9 years dedicated to AI Systems Engineering.

Dr. Queiroz is a Senior Staff Engineer leading Architecture of AI Systems at a TIME100 most influential companies 2025. He also serves as a Technical Expert and Project Manager of strategic Industry-Academia Collaboration Projects, leading cross-functional initiatives focused on the development and deployment of novel AI technologies for autonomous, scalable and trustworthy intelligent systems.

His areas of expertise include Self-Driving Systems, Multi-Agent Systems, Real-Time Assurance frameworks, and the integration of Large Vision and Language Models into complex, adaptive environments.

In addition to his technical leadership, Dr. Queiroz has been deeply involved in hiring and mentoring engineers through building high-performing teams across both research and production settings.

He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo (Canada), a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil), and an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (Brazil).
